Flexibility to perform out-of-hours work from time to time will be required. There may be peak periods of work during which taking of leave may be restricted.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS

All appointments to Geelong Arts Centre are subject to reference checks, pre-employment identity and misconduct screening and both National and International Police Checks (if spent more than 2 years overseas). Any unspent convictions must be disclosed prior to appointment, or the offer of employment may be revoked. Ongoing currency relating to police checks must be maintained for the duration of employment.

CHILD SAFE STANDARDS

All positions with Geelong Arts Centre are required to have a current employment Working with Children Check (WWCC). Prospective employees cannot commence work with the Centre until they hold a valid WWCC.

All procurement must be undertaken in accordance with Centre policies and procedures and Victorian Government Purchasing Board directions and guidelines.
