Geelong Arts Centre is thrilled to announce the return of treasured daytime performance program, Delightful Days & Matinees.
Bringing some of Australia's best-loved performers to Geelong, Delightful Days & Matinees (formerly Musical Mornings) returns to Geelong Arts Centre with two unmissable performances in 2023.
An essential part of Geelong’s daytime entertainment calendar, Delightful Days & Matinees is committed to engaging and connecting with audiences of all ages who prefer to visit Geelong Arts Centre during the day.
Delightful Days & Matinees will continue to foster opportunities for social connection and high-quality theatre experiences.
Arts-lovers from across the region can trust Geelong Arts Centre to make daytime events as memorable, engaging and utterly delightful as possible in 2023.
Kicking off on August 16, acclaimed local music theatre star, Zoy Frangos and his equally talented wife, Elisa Colla, hits The Play House stage accompanied by the brilliant Richard Chew for Zoy Frangos: Variations. The son of a Greek migrant father and Indigenous Australian mother, Variations chronicles Zoy’s family and musical story through the lens of his cross cultural upbringing.
Then, on November 22, Anna O’Byrne reflects on the unique experience of being hand-picked by Dame Julie Andrews to play Eliza in the 60th anniversary production of My Fair Lady in the aptly named Becoming Eliza; an acclaimed concert features iconic songs from beloved musicals in The Story House.

BOOKINGS AND VENUES
Geelong Arts Centre’s Delightful Days & Matinees program will be held across multiple venues as Geelong Arts Centre draws closer to the completion of the Little Malop Street Redevelopment in 2023.
Bookings can be made via the website, or by phoning the Box Office on 1300 251 200 between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Please note, Geelong Arts Centre will close from 5:00pm Thursday 22 December 2022 to 9:00am Tuesday 3 January 2023 for the Christmas break. During this time tickets will be available to purchase online only.
