MEDIA RELEASE • 28 FEBRUARY 2023
From 23 March, Geelong Arts Centre kicks off a brand-new program of unique experiences at their first REWIRE show, rock spectacular, 27 Club.
27 Club takes to Costa Hall on March 23 from 7:30pm, delivering an electrifying live rockumentary for the ages.
Off the back of receiving Adelaide Fringe Festival’s ‘Best Music Award’ in 2021, the infamous club is forming once again and hitting the road to bring their show to Geelong. Declared by Glam Adelaide (2022) as “Electrifying and magnetic”, this must see show will have audience members praying to the rock gods.
Come as you are and experience the treasured music and stories from the likes of Joplin, Winehouse, Cobain, Morrison, and Hendrix; legends who will forever be 27 and the legacy they left behind.
Saluting the fated members of the 27 Club will be Australian rock icons Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) and Kevin Mitchell (Jebediah, Bob Evans) with Carla Lippis (Mondo Psycho), Dusty Lee Stephenson, Cam Blokland and Wanderers.
