Bec Goring’s ‘Sounds of Olfactory’ aims to redefine the boundaries and challenge the constructs of what we consider live performance to be.

The work will explore to what depth a multi-sensory live performance can connect with the community. This project aims to redefine the boundaries and challenge the constructs of what we consider live performance to be. The themes of 'Mindfulness, Chaos and Affluence' will be explored by local visual and sound artists working across a range of mediums.

Bec Goring has become one of Australia’s most versatile and hard working singer song-writers to emerge in the last decade.

Nominated for ‘Live Guitarist of the Year’ in 2020 by the National Live Music Awards, she has a unique sound and captivating performance style. Bec has collaborated with artists such as Gordi and Merpire, and supported some of Melbourne’s iconic artists Alex Lahey (‘Best of Luck’ tour), Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Liz Stringer and Bec Sandridge. Her debut studio album ‘Beware’ (2020 release) produced by Jono Steer (Angie McMahon & Ainslie Wills) reveals the voice of an honest, and comforting songwriter.
