Geelong Arts Centre is thrilled to present the five recipients of Creative Engine's first grant round for 2025

The grants, both financial and value-in-kind studio access within the arts centre’s landmark Ryrie Street building, are designed to directly benefit local G21 artists and other artists with strong connections to our community in their pursuit to develop fresh, innovative and exciting work.

'Gold Mountain Wives' is a musical that brings to life the untold stories and friendships of three Chinese women in Geelong in the early 1900s.

Showdown! a light-hearted, physical theatre piece. Supposedly, everyone has a doppelganger in this world, and we are each other's. We eye each other across the void, wondering what makes us appear the same to others, but so different to ourselves.
