The newly renovated Geelong Arts Centre isn't just a pretty face - we've made some state-of-the-art upgrades across all our theatres from sound, lighting and staging to guarantee the best entertainment experience for our audiences.

Costa Hall's sound system has been fully upgraded to give better coverage throughout the entire auditorium, giving every seat in the house that ‘front row’ feeling.

The Play House has also been fitted out with a brand-new sound system and the highest quality lighting fixtures including new projections and moving lights which will allow our talented technical team to create world-class visuals that will enhance all the productions hosted in the venue.

The Story House and The Open House are our two brand-new theatres and have the benefit of state-of-the-art technology right from the start – you can feel the incredible acoustics of the spaces as soon as you enter and are taken to a new world of theatrical brilliance as soon as you take your seat.

To manage all the high-quality acts that pass through our venue, Geelong Arts Centre has hired a top-notch technical team who join us from all around the country and the UK. The talented crew worked on shows in iconic venues such as Glyndebourne Opera House, beloved festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe and have toured globally with a range of musical and theatrical performances.
