Terms and Conditions – Prize Draw

  1. Promoter 

    This Prize Draw is run by Geelong Arts Centre. 

    Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  

    Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible will be deemed invalid and Geelong Arts Centre takes no responsibility for such entries. All entries will remain the property of Geelong Arts Centre. 

     

  2. Marketing Consent 

    By entering the Prize Draw, participants agree to receive marketing communications, including customer experience surveys, from Geelong Arts Centre.  

    Personal information will be handled in accordance with Geelong Arts Centre’s privacy policy. 

     

  3. Eligibility 

    Entrants must complete and submit their contact information via the designated Wonder, Wander & WIN! Giveaway entry form, within the Entry Period. A fully completed entry form must include the entrant’s name, phone number and contact email address. 

    Only one entry per person is permitted. The Prize will only be awarded to the person who originally entered the Prize Draw. 

    The following persons are not eligible to enter the Giveaway:  

    - Board members, employees, agents (and agents’ employees) and contractors of Geelong Arts Centre, and Immediate Family of such persons (where “Immediate Family” means the parents, siblings, children and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person).  

    - Entrants whose normal place of residence is outside Australia  

    - Persons under the age of 18 years. 

     

  4. Entry Period 

    Opens: 10:00am AEST, Saturday 20 September 2025 
    Closes: 4:00pm AEST, Sunday 21 September 2025 

     

  5. Prize

    One (1) winner will receive a Family Pass (consisting of two (2) adult tickets and up to four (4) child tickets) to a Family Magic 2026 show. 

    Geelong Arts Centre will contact the Prize Draw winner in November 2026 and provide the winner with a list of the eligible Family Magic 2026 shows to choose from, and the Family Pass to the chosen show will then be allocated to the winner. 

    If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, Geelong Arts Centre, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or part of the Prize) with a Prize of an equal or greater monetary value. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for alternative products or services or redeemed for cash. 

     

  6. Winner Selection & Notification 

     A random draw from all eligible entries will be made by Geelong Arts Centre. The final decision with respect to any winning entry will be at the sole discretion of Geelong Arts Centre and no correspondence will be entered into.   

     The Prize Draw will be conducted at the Geelong Arts Centre at 2:00pm AEST, Friday 26 September 2025. 

     The winner will not be publicly announced. The winner will be contacted by Geelong Arts Centre after the Prize Draw by email.  

     If Geelong Arts Centre is unable to contact the winning customer by 5:00pm AEST two weeks after the draw was conducted, having made reasonable efforts to do so, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid, and Geelong Arts Centre reserves the right to randomly redraw another winner on the same terms and conditions as the original draw. 

     The Geelong Arts Centre reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any customer who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process or attempts to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, as ineligible to participate in the Prize Draw.  

     If the Prize Draw cannot be run as planned for reasons beyond the control of Geelong Arts Centre, Geelong Arts Centre reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Giveaway at any time. 

     

  7. General 

    The Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. 

    Geelong Arts Centre takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Giveaway due to equipment or technical malfunction, Acts of God or otherwise. 

    Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Geelong Arts Centre and any person in connection with this Prize Draw are not liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage whatsoever suffered or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with 

    - participation in this Prize Draw;  
    - the Prize or use of the Prize; and  
    - the administration of this Prize Draw and distribution of the Prize. 

    Failure by Geelong Arts Centre to enforce any of its rights under these Terms & Conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
