Broadway Rocks is CentreStage’s spectacular end-of-year student celebration, bringing hundreds of young performers together for an unforgettable night of music, dance and theatre at Costa Hall.
Presented as a high-energy journey through musical theatre and popular music, the production features students from across CentreStage’s Junior, Middle and Senior programs, with large-scale ensemble numbers, vocal features, dynamic choreography and plenty of personality along the way.
Audiences can expect a huge soundtrack including Roar, Maniac, Holding Out for a Hero, We Will Rock You, Man in the Mirror, Nine to Five, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Slipping Through My Fingers, Disco Inferno, the Elephant Love Medley and a show-stopping I Will Survive finale.
With music drawn from shows including & Juliet, Flashdance, Footloose, We Will Rock You, MJ, 9 to 5, American Idiot, Mamma Mia!, Tina, Moulin Rouge! and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Broadway Rocks celebrates the confidence, creativity and growth of young performers while delivering the energy of a live concert and the heart of musical theatre.
