High in the snow-capped mountains of Arendelle, a kingdom is gripped by an unrelenting winter.
When Queen Elsa’s secret powers are revealed, she retreats into isolation, leaving her sister Anna to set out on a journey across frozen landscapes to find her. Along the way, Anna is joined by Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the ever-optimistic snowman Olaf.
Disney’s Frozen is brought to life on stage with breathtaking design, dazzling costumes, and a full orchestra, featuring beloved songs including Let It Go, Do You Want to Build a Snowman? , and For the First Time in Forever, alongside new music written for the Broadway production.
Presented by CentreStage, this large-scale musical delivers a visually spectacular and emotionally powerful theatrical experience, celebrating courage, connection, and the enduring bond between sisters.

What is a Relaxed Performance?
Sunday 14th March 2027 - 12:00pm
CentreStage is proud to offer designated Relaxed Performance sessions for Frozen the Musical, ensuring the production is accessible and welcoming to the widest possible community. These performances are designed to create a more flexible and supportive theatre environment while maintaining the full magic and storytelling of the show. Small adjustments are made to the sensory and audience experience to support comfort, inclusion, and ease of access.
During a Relaxed Performance, you can expect:
- Reduced intensity of lighting and sound effects
- House lights remaining on at a low level
- Theatre doors staying open throughout the performance
- Freedom to move in and out of the auditorium as needed
- A welcoming attitude toward audience noise and movement
- Access to a designated quiet space for breaks
- Space to LET IT GO at the front of the stage without seating (ie bean bags).
Audience members are encouraged to engage with the performance in a way that suits their needs. Stimming, vocal responses, and movement are all welcomed and respected as part of the experience. These sessions reflect CentreStage’s ongoing commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring that high-quality live theatre is accessible to all members of our community.
Scheduled Swing & Understudy Performance
Wednesday 17th March - 7:30pm
At CentreStage, we are proud to support a strong and professional cast structure that includes swings and understudies. These performers are an essential part of the production, ensuring the show can continue at the highest standard while also creating meaningful performance opportunities within the company. For Frozen the Musical, selected performances will be designated as Scheduled Swing & Understudy Performances. At these sessions, audiences will see some roles performed by swings or understudies who have been carefully rehearsed and prepared to step into principal roles.
This approach allows:
- Greater resilience across the production season to prevent show cancellations
- Development opportunities for emerging and ensemble performers
- A fresh and dynamic interpretation of the show across performances
All swings and understudies are trained to the same standard as principal cast members and bring their own unique artistry to each role. Audiences can attend these performances with full confidence in the quality and professionalism of the production.
Scheduled performances will be clearly communicated in advance, and casting for each show will be confirmed prior to the performance where possible.
This initiative reflects CentreStage’s commitment to both artistic excellence and talent development, ensuring a sustainable and inclusive approach to producing large-scale musical theatre.
