Connor Morel returns to Geelong Arts Centre to develop his brand new show Good Man
In 2015, in a run down music venue in a small town, Connor meets his Dad for the first time on the day of his 18th birthday.
GOOD MAN is a brand-new work-in-progress rock monologue with original music and a live three-piece band investigating the lessons and behaviours that we teach young people how they help or hinder us in figuring out who we want to be.
Connor’s first show, "A LOVELY DAY TO BE ONLINE," toured to multiple fringes as well as internationally, and was the recipient of Geelong Arts Centre's Creative Engine Ignition grant round. This follow-up was initially commissioned by Geelong Arts Centre and funded by City of Greater Geelong, and now proudly part of Geelong Arts Centre’s Launchpad program.
