Immerse yourself in the power and genius of Beethoven in this stirring program that reveals both his dramatic intensity and lyrical grace.
The concert begins with the Egmont Overture, a work charged with heroic spirit and emotional depth, written as a tribute to resistance and freedom. Trio Anima Mundi then joins the orchestra for Beethoven’s extraordinary Triple Concerto, a rare masterpiece for piano, violin, and cello that brims with grandeur, wit, and tenderness. After interval, the spotlight shines on Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4, often overshadowed by his more famous works but a gem in its own right—fresh, playful, and full of joyous surprises.
Together, these works offer a portrait of Beethoven at his most human and inspired, revealing the many facets of his genius. A powerful celebration of one of the greatest composers of all time.
