Step into the drama, romance and spectacle of the Italian opera house.
Conducted by Carlos del Cueto, the Geelong Symphony Orchestra is joined by soprano Lee Abrahmsen, tenor James Eggelston and the 50-voice Geelong Symphony Combined Chorus for an afternoon celebrating the great masters of Italian opera.
Experience beloved arias, duets and choruses from Verdi, Puccini, Rossini and more, including music from Tosca, Aida, Turandot, La bohème, Nabucco and Il Trovatore.
From the stirring Va, pensiero to the triumphant Nessun dorma, this is opera on a grand scale.
