The 2027 season opens with two great Romantic masterpieces.
Violinist Anna da Silva Chen joins conductor Richard Davis and the Geelong Symphony Orchestra for Brahms’ magnificent Violin Concerto, a work of sweeping lyricism, emotional depth and dazzling virtuosity.
After the interval, Dvořák’s joyous Symphony No. 8 fills Costa Hall with glorious melodies, vibrant orchestral colour and the spirit of the Bohemian countryside.
Brahms – Violin Concerto
Dvořák – Symphony No. 8
