Discover Culture Through Dance, Story and Language

Join proud Wadawurrung/Wathaurong and Gunditjmara woman Kristi Watts and her team of early childhood educators for an engaging cultural experience that introduces young learners to Aboriginal culture through movement, creativity and connection.

Students will dance, explore the significance of ochre, and learn the names of animals in Wadawurrung language as they participate in a fun, interactive workshop designed especially for young children.

Through storytelling, music and movement, children will build an understanding of First Nations culture while developing confidence, curiosity and respect for the world's oldest continuing cultures.

Perfect for Early Learning Centres, Kindergartens and Prep classes, this hands-on experience sparks imagination, encourages participation and creates meaningful opportunities for cultural learning and connection.
