Psyched

Creative Engine's Launchpad | Presented by Serah Nathan

Be part of the development of a TV Script

Join writer and former Creative Engine grant recipient Serah Nathan for an insightful glimpse into the development of her darkly comedic series "Psyched."

Through a staged reading of the pilot episode, you'll be immersed in the story of heartbroken Alina, who resorts to admitting herself to a psychiatric hospital in a misguided attempt to win back her ex.

Alina's calculated scheme is turned upside down when she's confronted by patients grappling with far weightier problems than her own.

The reading will have actors playing multiple roles and be elevated with lighting and sound design. But your role extends beyond observing. After the performance, you're invited to participate in a facilitated feedback session, comprising four targeted questions, where your insights will directly inform the next draft as Serah continues shaping this series.
