This spectacular event will transport you from the grandeur of Europe's finest opera houses to the vibrant lights of London's West End, featuring a rich and varied repertoire of iconic arias, duets, and show-stopping numbers.

Delight in the tender beauty of O Mio Babbino Caro from Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, the sultry allure of Bizet's Habanera from Carmen, the joyous Brindisi from Verdi's La Traviata, and the triumphant Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot. Then, journey to the heart of London with iconic numbers from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, and Carousel.

Giuseppina Grech | Soprano

An acclaimed Australian-Italian soprano, Giuseppina has starred in roles with Opera Australia, including The Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera and Frasquita in Carmen. A graduate of the Melbourne Conservatorium, she furthered her studies at La Scala in Milan and has performed across Europe, including as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro. Giuseppina tours regularly with The Australian Tenors and the Proms Spectacular as their special guest artist.

Michaela Hodgson | Mezzo Soprano

A Royal College of Music graduate, Michaela has portrayed a wide range of roles, including Calisto in Daphnis and Chloe, Lucille in The Silken Ladder, and Rebecca Steinberg in It Shoulda Been You. In 2022, she was a featured singer in Amadeus, starring Michael Sheen, at the Sydney Opera House. Michaela has toured with The Phantom of the Opera across the UK and Ireland and performed in Sweeney Todd with Victoria Opera in 2023. Her versatile career also includes appearances in multiple television productions.

Murray Mayday | Tenor

A celebrated tenor known for his powerful voice and diverse repertoire, Murray has performed extensively with Opera Australia, The Australian Tenors, and The Three Waiters, earning a reputation for his captivating stage presence. His 15-year association with Opera Australia included principal roles in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Madame Butterfly, and Don Carlo, with performances at the Sydney Opera House. Murray is a highly sought-after performer, touring internationally with shows such as The Australian Tenors, Figaro, and The Proms.

Glenn Amer | Pianist & Baritone

A renowned pianist and baritone, is celebrated for his versatility and unique blend of genres. With a career spanning decades, he has collaborated with leading opera singers, jazz musicians, and crossover artists, delivering captivating performances worldwide. Known for his baritone voice and exceptional piano skills, Glenn has recorded across various mediums, from piano rolls to modern formats. Starting at age eleven, he has accompanied icons like Rita Hunter, Horst Hoffmann, and Yvonne Kenny. Today, Glenn tours globally with his acclaimed one-man show, where he is often described as having “the fingers of Liberace and the voice of Mario Lanza.”
