Brass Instruments / Piano
James Morrison is a virtuoso in the true sense of the word.
Besides the trumpet, this multi-instrumentalist plays all of the traditional brass instruments you see in a symphony orchestra or your local brass band. His mastery of brass instruments runs from tuba and sousaphone, all the way up through ever brass slide instrument and every valve instrument up to the piccolo trumpet.
James also plays all of the reed instruments in the saxophone family of instruments, from the contra bass saxophone to the soprano saxophone, and all the different saxes in between.
James’ international career developed just as quickly with a debut performance in the USA at the famous Monterey Jazz Festival when he was just sixteen. This led James to performances at virtually all of Europe’s major festivals but no longer just a sideman in someone else’s band, James was now headlining his own band playing a mix of jazz standard and his own original compositions at festivals like: Montreux, North Sea, Nice and the Bern Festival to name a few.
As the jazz world began to take notice of James and together with the success of some of his early albums on Atlantic Records, invitations began to flow in requesting that James perform and tour with some of the all-time jazz greats like, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, George Benson, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Wynton Marsalis and of course his future mentor, Mr. Ray Brown, who came to Australia to tour here multiple times, before James and Ray then went on to complete world tours around the globe.
Now in his 60s, James Morrison's career has included much more than just jazz. He has recorded with The London Symphony Orchestra, rock legends INXS, and the European Brass Ensemble, performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms, he composed and performed the music for the opening fanfare for the 2000 Olympic Games, he played for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and for 3 sitting US Presidents George Bush Seniour, Bill Clinton and in 2016 James was a guest of President Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House in Washington DC.
Patrick Bartley

Patrick is a GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader from Hollywood, Florida, who is known for his boundless versatility, virtuosic technique, and expressive vocal-like sound. Since moving to New York City, Patrick has performed and recorded with some of the greatest musical masters in the world including, Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste, Emmet Cohen, Larry Grenadier, Steve Miller, Herbie Hancock, Louis Hayes, Carole King, Jimmy Cobb, Marquis Hill, Bobby Sanabria, Marcus Printup, and many others.
Patrick is currently best known for his appearances on the YouTube podcast sensation “Live from Emmet's Place” with some of his solos having received many millions of views, such as his solo on the jazz stand “AFTER YOU’VE GONE” which is now estimated to be in the neighbourhood of 20 million views across all media platforms.
Patrick is also well known for creating a new educational concept, the “J-MUSIC Ensemble”, which is a band dedicated to examining the world of modern Japanese music, through the lens of jazz. Since its inception, J-MUSIC has garnered millions of views and hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. This has led to Patrick connecting and working with some of the greatest names in modern Japanese music today such as, Sayaka Yamamoto, “sasakure.UK”, Donna Burke, Awich, Miho Hazama, and many more.
