Building connection and resilience through dance—empowering all to thrive.

Time to Thrive Dance is an artistic and expressive 6-week movement program designed to cultivate deeper body-mind awareness in a safe, inclusive, and joyful space. This program invites older adults to connect, dance, learn, and celebrate their unique stories through movement.

What to Expect:

  • Inclusive & Adaptive Movement: Designed for participants who prefer a gentler approach to dance. Options are offered for both standing and seated movement, with all mobility levels welcomed.
  • Progressive Exercises: Each session begins with a guided warm-up to prepare the body for fluid and expressive movement sequences, supported by an uplifting and varied soundtrack.
  • Physical & Cognitive Benefits: Exercises aim to enhance strength, mobility, balance, hand-eye coordination, memory, and musicality—while bringing joy and creative engagement.
  • Guided Exploration: Facilitated by experienced teacher and dance movement therapist Jessica Lesosky, participants are supported to move confidently at their own pace, building awareness, control, and creative freedom.
