The sublime Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia from Khachaturian’s ballet Spartacus paves the way for Saint-Saëns’ exotic Piano concerto No.5 played by the incomparable Konstantin Shamray.

The Geelong Symphony will then perform one the greatest orchestral pieces, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.

SHOW WARNINGS

No latecomers will be permitted into the theatre approx. 18 minutes after show commencement. Entry will be on interval points thereafter.
