Donate today!

Every donation received assists Geelong Arts Centre in the delivery of its annual artistic program.

Whether you'd like to make an individual or annual donation, your donation to Geelong Arts Centre will enable us to continue bringing art to our community.

A significant donation could be in cash, a gift of shares, proceeds from a life insurance policy or a realisable asset. All donations over $2 are tax deductible as the centre is registered as a charitable organisation and endorsed for Charity Tax Concessions. The Endowment Fund is also registered as a deductible gift recipient (DGR).

If you would like to make a donation, please contact:

Kimberley Sinnott, Development Coorindator: kimberley@geelongartscentre.org.au or phone 1300 251 200.

Bequest

If, once you have remembered your family, you also have the capacity to invest in your community, then a bequest (a provision in your will) is the perfect legacy to acknowledge the pleasure you have received from your involvement with Geelong Arts Centre over the years.

Such a bequest would normally take the form of a nominated dollar amount or as a percentage of your estate. This is a very personal decision and should only be made after discussion with those assisting you with the drafting of your will.

If you would like further information regarding a bequest, please contact:

Kate Brereton, Director Development & Marketing: kate@geelongartscentre.org.au or phone 1300 251 200.

The Giving Circle

Contribute $500 or more annually and join the Giving Circle.

Our region has changed significantly over the past few years. We are becoming a city that others are starting to watch: how we transform, how we innovate, how we look after each other, and more importantly how we set up the next generation with the right skills and confidence to navigate life’s journey. Critical to this discussion is the role arts, culture and the Creative Engine will play in this journey.

Here at Geelong Arts Centre, we have long played a pivotal role in the artistic and cultural wellbeing of our community, and we are delighted to now play an important role in providing a platform to contribute to our region’s cultural future and in turn our social and economic future.

Our vision in the short term is to inspire 100 members who come together to learn, grow and, through the arts, create a lasting and life-changing impact on Geelong. Our collective funds will be used to support our social change programs each year by expanding the centre's Arts for Life Endowment Fund through our Giving Circle.

As a member of the Giving Circle, you will be invited to exclusive tailored events, where you will meet and hear from dynamic Australian artists, cultural leaders and community members explaining the development and impact of these programs and the arts in general.

Membership is open to everyone (individuals and businesses) in Geelong and across the region.

Membership is $500 per year, which an be paid either annually or in monthly direct debit instalments. Membership is fully tax deductible.

To join the Giving Circle, please contact:

Kimberley Sinnott, Development Coorindator: kimberley@geelongartscentre.org.au or phone 1300 251 200.

Arts for Life

Arts for Life is the Geelong Arts Centre's major endowment fund. It has been established to ensure the centre remains a place where our children first experience the performing arts; a centre which nurtures local emerging artists; and a centre where both Australian and the world's finest artists continue to perform on our stages.

Our invaluable community organisations can never be taken for granted. With only 20 percent of our annual income generated from government sources, additional income through Arts for Life will give the Centre the opportunity to confidently plan and build the artistic programs.

These include:

  • Support for the development of emerging artists, education programs and new cultural activities across the Cultural Precinct
  • Increased access for schools, community groups, organisations, and independent producers wishing to present performances at Geelong Arts Centre
  • A greater number of performances by leading Australian and international artists across the performing arts
