The Geelong Symphony Orchestra’s 2026 Season invites you on a journey through drama, beauty, and brilliance - three unforgettable concerts, each telling its own story.
French Flair (21 February) bursts with passion and colour, from Ravel’s hypnotic Bolero to Chopin’s dazzling Piano Concerto No. 1 with virtuoso Konstantin Shamray, and the fiery spirit of Bizet’s Carmen. In Seasons and Beyond (9 May), director and soloist Dale Bartrop leads a journey across time and nature, with Grieg’s elegant Holberg Suite, Bach’s radiant Concerto No. 2, and Vivaldi’s timeless masterpiece, The Four Seasons. Finally, Beethoven Revealed (24 October) showcases the composer’s genius, from the heroic Egmont Overture to the grandeur of the Triple Concerto with Trio Anima Mundi, and the playful brilliance of Symphony No. 4.
