For the first time, the VCE 2026 Season of Excellence is bringing Top Screen to Geelong, presenting an opportunity to join a screening and discussion with the Top Screen 2026 filmmakers.
Be moved, inspired and entertained by an eclectic selection of short films made by VCE Media students from 2025, including animation, documentary and fiction.
After the screening, join Top Screen 2026 filmmakers as they discuss the successes and challenges involved in making their short films. The panel will explore the ins and outs of producing a VCE Media film, from choosing an idea to sound and lighting.
Presented by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority and Geelong Arts Centre. Explore the full program for the Season at the VCAA Season of Excellence webpage.
