How will you support the arts today?

Support our artistic community

Geelong Arts Centre exists to foster the artists and creative communities of Geelong, and to be the window through which our town can view the world’s creative talent.

Your generous donation today will enrich our arts community and help emerging artists find their spotlight.

The Church Giving Campaign

Geelong Arts Centre invites the Geelong community to contribute to transforming the interior of the Church, and in turn the artistic prospects of Geelong’s incredible pool of creative talent.

The Church Giving Campaign focuses on the interior redevelopment of the mid-1800s Church located in the heart of the Geelong Arts Centre creative campus.

Building on the investment provided by the Victorian State Government and an array of generous donors, the campaign provides a chance to maximise opportunities for the next generation of artists and creatives with the implementation of a cabaret-style performance venue and artist support spaces.

The Arts for Life Endowment Fund is also registered as a deductible gift recipient (DGR).

Bequest

If, once you have remembered your family, you also have the capacity to invest in your community, then a bequest (a provision in your will) is the perfect legacy to acknowledge the pleasure you have received from your involvement with Geelong Arts Centre over the years.

Such a bequest would normally take the form of a nominated dollar amount or as a percentage of your estate. This is a very personal decision and should only be made after discussion with those assisting you with the drafting of your will.

If you would like further information regarding a bequest, please contact:

Kate Brereton, Director Development & Marketing: kate@geelongartscentre.org.au or phone 1300 251 200.

Arts for Life

Arts for Life is the Geelong Arts Centre's major endowment fund.

It has been established to ensure the centre remains a place where our children first experience the performing arts; a centre which nurtures local emerging artists; and a centre where both Australian and the world's finest artists continue to perform on our stages.

Our invaluable community organisations can never be taken for granted. With only 20 percent of our annual income generated from government sources, additional income through Arts for Life will give the Centre the opportunity to confidently plan and build the artistic programs.

These include:

  • Support for the development of emerging artists, education programs and new cultural activities across the Cultural Precinct
  • Increased access for schools, community groups, organisations, and independent producers wishing to present performances at Geelong Arts Centre
  • A greater number of performances by leading Australian and international artists across the performing arts
